So you've packed your bags, readied the kids, and everything is primed for vacation. But wait! Don't forget that the summer means more than just SPF 50 and water parks. Summer time is one of the best times of the year for some of the best deals you can snag on handbags.

Focus most of your efforts on finding deals between the end of July and starting in August. This is prime time. Retailers will heavily discount summer styles (think raffia, straw, bright colors, canvas) to make room for fall inventory. You'll see deeper markdowns in July and especially in August.

Hey, don't forget about Amazon Prime Day! It usually happens during mid-July. While the exact date for 2025 isn't set, this event often features deals on various categories, including handbags, and other fashion accessories. Keep an eye out for ads featuring the exact time.

Many of the best deals during the end of July and beginning of August will be related to Summer-specific materials. Raffia, straw, crochet, canvas, and lighter fabrics are often heavily discounted as the season winds down. Also pay attention to the colors of that include bags in summery hues or bold patterns.
